Thai Relax

Back neck shoulder massage - working from the lower back up to the shoulders and neck. Particular attention is paid to any problem areas using some deep tissue massage techniques. this is followed by the client lying on their back where a gentle massage is given to their chest, neck, face, head, both arms, and finishing with hands and fingers. Lemongrass massage oil is used. Massage is completed with a warm wrap. 

Thai foot massage - bathing both feet in warm lemongrass-scented water, the massage starts at the knee and works downwards towards each foot. The whole experience is designed to enable the client to feel refreshed and relaxed, and may lead to feelings of greater energy. 

Thai traditional massage - Traditional Thai massage is always completed with the client fully-clothed, wearing loose comfortable clothing, such as wearing a long-sleeved t-shirt and trousers made from soft fabric. 

The therapist uses various manipulative techniques to provide the client with a workout from head to toe. Particular attention is paid to areas previously identified as tense or stressful.

Additionally, a mini-facial and mini-Indian head massage is offered as part of this treatment at no extra cost.

Reported benefits include feelings of a lighter body, improved circulation, reduced stress and tension. and less pain. It may help clients who present with headaches, neck pain,  frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, sciatica, knee pain, and foot pain.

Please refrain from having a heavy meal at least one hour before your appointment.

 

Hot stone massage - using basalt stones that retain the heat the masseuse first uses oil on their hands together with heat from stones to relax the body. As the stones cool down these  are then used directly on the skin. Once the stones have cooled down sufficiently they are then placed on the skin in line with the body's chakra points. Other massage techniques may be used to enhance the overall relaxation of the client. 

Indian Head massage (with warm oil) - Gently using the oil on the head the treatment starts by working from the shoulder blades and moves upwards to the neck and then focusses on the whole head. This helps to relax the client, and is reported to relieve headaches. 

Indian Head massage (without oil) - This is the same process but without the use of warm oil. 

Thai herbal steam massage - Particularly recommended for those who find themselves suffering from joint stiffness or muscle tension injuries arising from reduced flexibility. The unique blend of Thai herbs infuses through the skin's surface to offer stress relief and relaxation.

Full body massage - using lavendar or lemongrass scented oil this massage is for relaxation. Should you have any areas of tension, please tell the masseuse, who will apply some deep tissue massage techniques to the affected area/s.

Warm bamboo massage - following a brief consultation, the therapist will apply a combination of three different techniques, Thai traditional to loosen tension, pressure point massage to address any knotted tissues, and warm oil mixed with warm bamboo massage to relax sore or tense muscles.

In addition, a mini-facial and mini-Indian head massage is offered as part of this treatment at no extra cost.

The aim here is to improve blood circulation, reduce pain and soreness, and promote feelings of relaxation.
